Far and away or.....

urban "jungle"? Coming round the cemetary Pioneer Park continues and becomes a little urban oasis.

365-68

This is the first time i recall finding moss on a tree in my yard. Or perhaps i never really paid attention before. I remember when camping as a girl scout we were told we could determine what direction to take when hiking if we got lost by looking at the moss on a tree. Moss usually grows on the north side of a tree because that is the shadier and thus damper side. Sure enough thats the side this moss is growing on, the north side.

After several tries I was finally able to manipulate the settings just right to get the reflection of the trees in the water to show up in the picture.
